Freelance Treasury Manager (ZZP)

At Mars, Global Treasury Operations (GTO) processes vast amounts of cash daily and manages critical financial risks. Mars is urgently looking for an experienced, independent professional (ZZP) who can hit the ground running, take ownership, and immediately relieve the team’s workload.
The successful candidate will join a diverse, international team of 5 experienced colleagues (located across France, the US, and the Netherlands), reporting directly to the Team Leader, Frank.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Treasury & Cash Management: Manage and analyze critical cash reports (Daily Cash Reporting, Cash Forecasting, Idle Cash Analysis) and drive follow-ups with international stakeholders.
Governance & PCI Compliance: Lead the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance area (PCI Scorecard, Self-Attestation Questionnaires) and coordinate internal control self-testing for Global Treasury.
Digital Reporting & Tools: Use Power BI to build and optimize high-quality dashboards and reports for senior management. Provide general support for the Power Platform to streamline workflows.
Operational Excellence: Review manual payments for accuracy, assist in the documentation of intercompany loans, and potentially support the global period-end closing process.
