Privacy Policy

Randstad is committed to the protection of Personal Data that are entrusted to us. Personal details are therefore handled and secured with the greatest possible care, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”). 

This notice explains who we are, for what purposes we may use your data, how we handle it, to whom may we disclose it [such as other Randstad Group Companies], where it may be transferred to or accessible from and what are your rights.

 

About Randstad

Randstad N.V., registered at Diemermere 25, Diemen, The Netherlands (referred to in this notice as: “we” or “Randstad”), together with its related group companies located in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands (hereinafter jointly referred to as: Randstad Group Companies), will process your personal data (also referred to in this as “information”) for the purposes described below. 

Randstad is the controller of the personal data (‘controller’ within the meaning of the GDPR).

 

Why do you need my information?

We will only use your personal data for recruitment purposes, namely to search & selection and staffing and associated administrative functions through the Randstad Talent Pool for Ukrainian Refugees (referred to in this notice as: “Platform”) to find you an employment within the European Union/European Economic Area in your condition as an Ukranian refugee. 

We do so based on

[1] your consent by agreeing to sharing your personal data to other Randstad Group Companies within the European Union/European Economic Area; 

[2] because it is necessary for the performance of the user contract for the creation and completion of the user account and the public profile on the Platform; 

[3] our legitimate interests pursued by us, to ascertain your interest in finding work, to assess your suitability for vacancies which may interest you.

We may also process your personal data if necessary to comply with any related legal and regulatory obligation we are subject to.

We will not use your personal data for other purposes than those explained in this notice without informing you first and, may it be the case, obtain your consent.

What information about me will you process?

We will process the personal data provided by you through the completion of a registration form for the creation and completion of the user account and the public profile on the Platform. 

We may also process the personal data contained in other databases to which we have a subscription, such as job boards or LinkedIn, only in case you decide to register to the Platform through your personal accounts in such platforms.

In order to be able to use the platform, the user shall provide personal data which are absolutely necessary for contact processing (e.g. making contact) and therefore must be provided, such as its username, password, name, address, email address, telephone number, education, CV, nationality, preferences such as sectors and desired countries in which you would like to work.

Further personal data may be processed by us only to the extent the user decides to provide such data for publication (e.g. age, gender, emergency contact, photo, tax numbers, registration number, residence status, work permit, skills, career, billing address, other contact information (e.g. Skype ID, LinkedIn ID)

 

How will you use my information?

Your information will be used to determine your suitability for particular vacancies considering the 

sector and countries in which you would like to find employment.

 

For how long will you keep my information?

Your personal data will be kept for the duration of the existing contact with the Platform (e.g. existing user account, etc.). After termination of the contract, or inactive use of the user account, the data will be deleted or made irretrievably anonymous within three months. 

 

Will you share my information with others?

We may disclose your personal information with:

  • Within the Randstad group of companies: Information may be shared with other Randstad Group Company operating in the countries where you would like to relocate within the European Union and the European Economic Area, as indicated in your Platform profile. The referred Randstad group of companies may further contact you to ascertain your interest in particular vacancies.
  • Our third party service providers: Randstad also uses “Team2Venture GmbH (twago)”, a company affiliated with Randstad within the Randstad Group whose business address is at Friedrichstr. 224, 10969 Berlin, to provide and host this Platform to collect, process and store your personal data and any other data you provide us with (as the case may be). 

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data stored by us against manipulation, partial or complete loss and against unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

 

Will my personal data be transferred to other countries?

Our use of your information in accordance with this notice may involve the transfer of this information to other countries, including outside the European Union, including to countries that have not been deemed by the European Commission to provide an adequate level of protection. This may be because our third party services providers operate there, in which case we will put in place appropriate safeguards to ensure your personal data is adequately protected.

What are my rights?

You may, at any time, request us to:

  • Review the information we hold about you;
  • Correct this information if it is factually wrong; 
  • Erase your personal data or restrict the processing concerning of personal data concerning to you
  • Receive the personal data which you have provided us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format 

We will deal with your request with special care to ensure your rights are effective. We may ask you for proof of identity to ensure that we are not sharing your personal data with anyone else but yourself!

You must be aware that, in particular cases (for instance, due to legal requirements) we may not be able to make your request effective right away. 

In any case, within one month from your request, we will inform you on the actions taken.

Can I withdraw my consent later on? 

You can withdraw your consent at any time. However, you must understand that it will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal nor further processing of the same data under other legal bases such as contract or compliance with a legal obligation to which Randstad is subject.

Can I object to the use of my information?
