Interim Master Data Specialist | (6 Months)

Location: Amsterdam

Duration: 6 Months, 32-40 hours per week (Possibility for extension)

Department: External Manufacturing & Supply (EM&S)

As a Master Data Specialist at Sanofi, you safeguard the integrity of global data streams within the pharmaceutical top tier. You are the strategic link translating complex data into a seamless supply chain for millions of patients worldwide.

We are seeking a Senior Master Data Specialist who will operate at the Business Process Owner level within the External Manufacturing & Supply organization.

This role goes beyond traditional master data management and focuses on:

• Process optimization

• Problem-solving

• Stakeholder management

• End-to-end ownership of master data processes

Purpose of the role:

• Improving and optimizing master data processes

• Ensuring data quality across systems

• Identifying and resolving structural issues

• Advising the business and stakeholders

• Supporting projects (e.g., new product setups, process design reviews)

  
  

Work Environment:

• External Manufacturing

• Collaboration with external manufacturing partners (including competitors)

Master data forms the basis for:

• Manufacturing

• Supply chain planning

• Contract and pricing processes

Must haves:

•Senior-level profile with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Experience with SAP (preferably S/4HANA)

•Affinity and understanding of supply chain management and production / manufacturing processes is important

•Experience with master data (preferably material master data and production master data (BOM, QIR, Outline Agreement))

•Strong in process thinking (end-to-end)

•Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business administration, Economics, or related field.

•Fluent in English, knowledge of other European languages is desirable.
