Freelance Financial Analyst Global Product Costing (ZZP)

• CV and motivation in English

 Calculate and maintain accurate COGS and standard product costs for management, commercial, and manufacturing purposes

• Prepare cost forecasts based on commodity prices (e.g. coffee, packaging), conversion costs, and supply chain costs

• Collect, validate, and maintain price inputs and commodity data, ensuring correct reflection in product costs

• Perform product cost calculations in SAP, including correct allocations, variance analysis, and reconciliation

• Analyse cost movements and variances, identify drivers, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management

• Support New Product Development (NPD) by calculating product costs in close cooperation with R&D

• Act as a financial business partner to internal customers, proactively providing cost transparency and decision support

• Documentation and adherence to internal controls and financial policies related to inventory valuation and COGS

Education & experience:

•  Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field

• 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, or Product Costing, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment

• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience required

• Experience working with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement is an advantage

• Prior experience in Product Costing or Standard Costing is a strong plus
