Freelance Carve-Out Support Manager (ZZP)

The Carve-out Support Manager plays a key role in supporting the financial and systems separation process within a carve-out project. The role focuses on ensuring data readiness, supporting system integration, and delivering high-quality financial information to enable a smooth transaction at deal date.
How You Can Be the Impact
• Support the preparation and execution of consolidated system integration, including:
o Master data setup and validation
o Group structure definition and alignment
o Data readiness (including opening balances)
o Data migration and data loads
o Setup of management reporting versions
o User access and data governance
• Prepare high-quality financial information to support transaction processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and audit-readiness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in the physical separation of the IT infrastructure
• Coordinate the collection, validation, and organization of all required financial data for the preparation of deal closing accounts
• Ensure alignment between finance, IT, and external stakeholders throughout the carve-out process
What Matters to SABIC
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Management, or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of experience in finance, consolidation and reporting
• Strong understanding of IFRS and reporting principles
• Proficiency in SAP and BPC is a must
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with multiple stakeholder
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external auditors
• Fluent English is required; proficiency in additional languages may be an advantage.
